Job Description

As a Service Desk Agent , you will be a key team member responsible for taking support calls as well as using the live web chat function to resolve IT queries. Therefore candidates are required to have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Skills & Experience:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
  • Sound knowledge of Office 365, Outlook and general IT and Mobile devices.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role in a corporate environment.
  • Good understanding of customer service and relationships.
  • Tolerant.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Has a flexible approach and works well under pressure.
