Contract position

Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid Working)

Great opportunity to work as Senior Test Engineer for a high profile , well-loved brand within IT Service company in Dublin, Ireland. This role involves requirements analysis, test estimation, test design and execution for Java-based applications and services. Including both manual and automation testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop test cases based on analysis of business and technical requirements.
• Provide accurate estimates of test effort required.
• Coordinate deliverables into test from various stakeholders and Work with developers and other testers to ensure timely defect resolution.
• Ensure efficient construction and maintenance of automated tests.
• Design, implement & maintain processes & process documentation.
• Investigate, evaluate & introduce tools, technologies & techniques.

Required Skills :

• Minimum five years testing experience.
• Minimum two years Senior Tester or Test Lead experience.
• Good working knowledge Linux and/or Unix.
• Good working knowledge of SQL query building.
• Functional, Load, Soak and Stress Test experience
• Experience of web service testing with tools such as SoapUI.
• Experience of Test Automation/CI tools such as ReadyAPI, Selenium, Jenkins
• Experience of cloud-based environments, particularly AWS
• Experience testing batch jobs with large volumes of data.
• Scripting or Programming Languages such as Java and Groovy.
• Desired to have Agile / CI experience.
