Our Client in Telecommunication industry urgently need a Senior Partner Manager to join and be accountable for Partner Management who delivers RAN & Transmission services, and Core services.

A key element of the role is to have a very good Financial Management experience as the need to have oversight accountability, manage total cost of ownership. They should also be excellent with collaboration, as they will need to interface into Director Level, and the delivery partners.

Responsibilities:

• Provides a channel for users to request and receive standard services.
• Negotiates service level requirements and agrees service levels with technical teams.
• Monitors service delivery and operations, identifies and implements actions to maintain or improve levels of service.
• Reviews service delivery to ensure that agreed targets are met cost effectively and prepares proposals to meet forecast changes in the level or type of service.
• Negotiates with relevant parties in respect of disruptions and major amendments to the provision of services.

They should also have knowledge around the following, but the most important is Financial Management.

• Contract Management (own the contract, operate the contract, hold parties accountable)
• Relationship Management (own the relationship and life cycle from contract signing to deliver, development and exit)
• Performance Management (achieve contracted deliverable, and look to exceed)

Skills Required:

• Proven Vendor manager / Partner Manager with telecommunication background
• Ability to act as the Commercial SME - must be able to be given it, understand it and manage it
• Experience of managing a large telecom partner/vendor
• Someone who is focused on delivering excellence
