Job Description

We're looking for dynamic Senior Systems Engineers for our Platform Team at the centre of our global organisation responsible for applications used by millions. You will be using your expertise working closely with the Team Lead to shape the design and implementation of our systems and infrastructure on a vast scale. The team strives to embody DevOps - all team members are empowered to improve, release and operate our services.

We need Senior Systems Engineers with a passion for technology to drive improvement. The ability to articulate to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is required.

What are we looking for you in you?

  • Experience of designing, developing and supporting complex systems at scale
  • Experience of cloud infrastructure and automation techniques
  • Previous experience in working on different projects which include - Agile, continuous integration/delivery and acceptance testing of new components.
  • Strong communication skills

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Providing operational support and incident response/management for the Account team's systems and infrastructure, including out-of-hours on-call support. Enabling software engineers to deliver new releases of software safely and quickly by continually improving our team's development/deployment tools and processes.
  • Working on infrastructure-focused projects which further our platform's reliability, scalability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Striving to ensure that the platform can scale seamlessly and securely to provide services under a range of traffic conditions and working alongside other team members to performance test our systems.
  • Engaging with other teams within the organisation to assist with their integration with our systems
  • Helping to ensure that our monitoring, alerting and logging solutions are as good as they can be.
