Senior Partner Manager - Telecoms/RAN/Transmission

6 month initial contract

Reading based with Hybrid ways of working

Contract opportunity to work for a leading mobile telecoms client, this role will report into the Head of Partner Management, and is looking for someone with a proven Vendor / Partner management background, and telecoms network domain knowledge, to join and be accountable for developing and maintaining relationships with partners to facilitate the Partner management process.

With some exciting projects underway around 4G and 5G technologies, in this instance, the partners deliver network related services, so knowledge of RAN/Transport would be beneficial.

You will also be accountable for new technologies and solutions being set up to be operated in the correct, while also ensuring that respective partner organisations remain focused on service operations excellence through achievement of SLAs and by driving continuous improvement.

Role Requirements

1. Have relevant technical expertise for the domain to objectively review and where appropriate challenge the Partner Statements of Work and solutions
2. Using commercial and technical expertise, utilise problem solving skills and be able to collaborate with the Partners at the appropriate level to achieve win / win outcomes within the framework of the contractual obligations
3. Has experience of delivering Operational Excellence through partners

Background needed:

  • Previous experience within the telecoms industry
  • Previous experience of supporting the delivery of a set contract outcomes with a value of £5m to £10m p.a
  • Relevant technical expertise for the domain to objectively review and where appropriate challenge the Partner Statements of Work and solutions
  • Proven negotiation skills, with a background of negotiating service level requirements and agrees service levels with technical teams.
  • Ability to monitor service delivery and operations, identifies and implements actions to maintain or improve levels of service.
  • Monitor and negotiate with relevant parties in respect of disruptions and major amendments to the provision of services.
