Senior Installation Engineer - Mobile Telecoms - 2G/3g/4G/5G - BTS

Permanent - Berkshire (plus national travel)

Role:

Electrical activities but not limited to:

 Installation, testing and certification of AC & DC systems.

 Installation of DC racks, batteries, and rectifiers.

 AC & DC cabling.

 Fault finding on a range of activities.

 Complete installation, testing and commissioning duties on electrical systems as per

specific project(s)

 Ensure all electrical works are carried out as per BS7671 and relevant design criteria

 Ensure all testing is completed as per BS7671 and company/project standards

 Report all issues with issued equipment in a timely manner

BTS and survey activities but not limited to:

 Complete installation and commissioning on BTS installations as per specific project(s)

 Perform all duties safely and to industry best practice

 Ensure all HOP reports are submitted to the required standards and timescales

 Receive and check issued link paperwork from the office

 Complete project reports/paperwork and upload within agreed project SLA

 Support Project Manager with project delivery

As a Wireless Field Engineer/site surveyor you will be involved in site surveys, prestart

meetings, PIT's

Installation, commissioning and integration experience for swap, upgrade and new 2G,

3G ,4G and 5G technologies

Nokia Flexi/Airscale and Ericsson BTS knowledge and experience desirable

You will be required to work with 3rd party Rigging, Build and Civils companies

Qualifications:

 SMSTS/SSSTS

 CDM 2015

 Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification (C&G 2330, 2365)

 Electrical Inspection and testing Qualification (C&G 2391, 2394/5 or EAL equivalent)

 18th/19th Edition (C&G 2382)

 IPAF

 PASMA

 CSCS/ECS

 IOSH Managing/Supervising Safely

 Full UK driving license


