Senior Infrastructure Manager (Planning)- Reading - Hybrid working
The Role:
Our client in Telecom Space are looking to recruit a Senior Infrastructure Manager (Planning) reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Management. This role is key to manage the production, agreement, execution and assurance of detailed plans for the asset management of passive infrastructure (including maintenance, upgrade, replacement and decommissioning)

What you can expect to be doing:
- Responsible for the proactive management of agreed aspects of infrastructure management (which may include asset performance monitoring, configuration management, data analysis, asset performance forecasting, investment planning, risk-based reporting and assurance) on behalf of Head of Infrastructure Management.
- To support and enable compliance with regulatory and statutory standards and to contribute to achieve agreed business outcomes and performance targets set by EE/BT, Three and the risk appetite set by the MBNL Board (including safety, risk, service, quality and cost).
- Responsible for delivering the continuous improvement of the asset management methodologies, processes, systems, controls, capabilities and relationships required to actively manage passive network infrastructure throughout all stages of the life cycle (including design, planning, deployment, operation, in life management and decommissioning) including all related scenario analysis, forums, communications and governance control points.
- Support and enable the proactive management of all passive infrastructure related risks, issues and interdependencies. Undertaking direct intervention to identify root cause issues, instigate corrective actions and recovery plans to ensure compliance with MBNL standards, policies and achieve agreed business outcomes and performance targets.
- Be responsible for the delivery of the asset management governance process including developing reports and metrics for the Asset Management SteerCo.
- Develop, manage and implement the necessary system monitors, reviews and audit programmes to provide assurance to the SteerCo and Board.
- Oversee the management of all improvements and the associated management of change.
What we are looking for:
- Expert knowledge of Infrastructure Asset Management.
- Management with experience in an asset intensive industry.
- Able to manage relationships across the MBNL ecosystem and with key stakeholders.
- A natural problem solver with a strong knowledge of applying risk-based evaluations to infrastructure processes and requirements.
- Experience of managing technical or analytical teams.
- Safety/quality/compliance knowledge of mobile or fixed network infrastructure.
