Senior Devops Engineer

Project People are currently partnered with a market leading luxury travel organisation in the search for a Senior Devops Engineer.

Your responsibilities as Senior Devops Engineer will include;

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain robust, secure micro-services using Azure cloud platform, using a test-driven approach
• Build and implement pro-active monitoring and logging services
• Work closely with the architecture and integration teams to cultivate operational standards and best working practices
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies
• Taking a lead role on small to medium size DevOps projects, mentoring more junior members of the team
• Participation in the continuous evolution of DevOps best practices, standards and policies used within the team
• Contribute towards high level design and approach to project work
• Carry out 1st level testing to ensure new processes or amendments to existing are working as expected
• Assist the internal support teams in investigating escalated issues

The ideal Devops Engineer will have;

• Experience in software development, ideally with a background in C#
• Solid experience of Azure DevOps and Azure cloud platform
• Experience with building and managing highly automated, secure and highly available micro-services
• Experience building and maintaining software in a serverless environment
• Strong knowledge APIs and API management tools
• Experience with automation/configuration management using Azure DevOps
