Senior Data Quality Analyst

In this newly formed position, the Senior Data Quality Analyst will play an integral role in driving the increase of data quality in a fast-paced and dynamic telecoms environment where quality data has become a primary focus of the business and its shareholders.Using Data Quality/ Governance tools, provide insight and solutions before methodically working with business stakeholders to increase the quality of data

  • To be business-facing and provide training and consultative support to our stakeholders as we drive a demonstrable improvement in data quality across all in-scope data
  • To help deliver the data quality targets identified by the businesses data strategy
  • Become the business lead for Data Quality tools and processes
  • Develop a suite of data quality scorecards that help us to increase our awareness of data quality and identify high value data initiatives
  • Identify the root cause of data quality issues and work with stakeholders and Data Management colleagues to resolve
  • Identify a standard process for dealing with data issues from identification to resolution
  • Support the definition of a governance framework and administrate appropriate forums
  • Develop education tools and documentation to support our stakeholders
  • Support the delivery of the Data Management communications plan to help establish a cultural change in how data is perceived and managed at the business
  • Work collaboratively with business and the supplier eco system to establish and drive best Data Quality practice
  • Becoming the business lead for our Data Quality tools and processes
  • Getting access to and subsequently providing high value analysis of our data
  • Impacting on the culture of the organisation to recognise data as an asset
  • Owning the data quality issue log and maintaining our data issue resolution processes
  • Supporting the migration of data from legacy sources (including EUCs) to strategic toolsets
  • Building effective relationships across the business that enable open and honest exchanges and foster trust and respect

  • Nature - Working closely with SME's to develop Business Validation Rules and other data quality analysis
  • Purpose - Supporting the day to day proactive management of Data Quality on behalf of the Data Management Team

  • Level - SMEs
  • Nature - Supporting, collaborating and influencing SMEs
  • Purpose - Help deliver scorecards and other data quality analysis to drive an improvement in data quality at . Ensuring effective relationships are developed and maintained for the greater benefit of our Data Vision.

External customers:

  • Nature - Facilitative
  • Purpose - Where required supporting the business / Shareholder teams.
