Senior Data Core Design Engineer

One of our clients are a leading Telecoms Organisation and they are seeking to recruit a Data Core Design Engineer to assist with working across projects, mainly capacity expansion of the cloud network and 5g roaming but they will also be starting the 5G SA which will be the next generation data core. Delivering design solutions and evaluate any new software releases into the Core network. As a Senior Data Core Design Engineer you will also be responsible for the HLD and DLD designs & solutions, platform design and platform integration.

While in the role you will also be developing and delivering cost efficient delivery plans and liaising with suppliers and internal teams.

Experience needed:

• Creation of HLD/DLD within Packet Core domain - hands-on end to end design role (no people or project management but do need to be able to demonstrate Technical Leadership in driving their designs)
• Solid grounding in 4G/LTE Packet Core design
• Experience with VoLTE / IMS
