Senior Bid Manager (Security Clearance Required)

Home/Remote Working (UK only)

Ongoing Contract Work

A new contract position has arisen working for our client a leading IT & Communications company for a Bid Manager. Working within Public sector, you will be responsible for leading bid teams, managing and taking control of the bid process, seeing bids through to fruition and getting the desired outcome.

As a Senior Bid Manager you will manage all bidding activities in accordance with recognised bidding best practices from initial customer contact through to contract signature. This will involve the development and execution of winning bid strategies and plans to enable submission of bid responses to requisite time, cost and quality standards.

A valid level of security clearance is required for this position, candidates without clearance may also be considered.

  1. Experienced Bid Manager within Public sector
  2. Team motivator: Are you able to energise and lead your bid team to do everything necessary to ensure we win on a consistent basis?
  3. Strategic thinker: Are you able to understand our customers' target outcomes and specific requirements (Both stated and hidden) to working with the bid team translate this into compelling bid strategies that maximise our chances of success.
  4. Stakeholder manager: Are you able to proactively engage with senior stakeholders throughout the business to secure their commitment and support
  5. Business challenger: Are you able to challenge both the bid team and the business to ensure that everyone is aware of what is required to ensure success to inform qualification and ensure that every business decision is made in an understood manner.
  6. Customer Awareness: Are you able to bring first-hand experience of selling into UK Public Sector and in particular the Government Shared Services sub-sector?
