Role: Senior APEX Developer

Type: Permanent

Location: Remote Working (must be based in UK with UK Right to Work) -Mobile Telecoms

We have an exciting new opportunity which is a pivotal role within the business working in the mobile telecoms / connectivity space.

Role Purpose: Oversee the development and improvement of systems and platforms across the business

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the review of undocumented (and legacy) PL/SQL and Apex code to find bugs, develop enhancements
• Lead any migration (upgrade to latest versions)
• Develop as needed key applications (from scratch) building on the latest versions
• Lead on requirements gathering and analysis, including analysis of existing potentially undocumented applications.
• Act as the point of contact of software / database design
• Coordinate software development, testing and integration
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture requirements
• Understand requirements/business data and respond to ad-hoc data requests
• Create and maintain supporting documentation
• Adjust to changing priorities in an Agile environment

Essential Skills

• Experience in developing bespoke business applications in a senior developer role
• Apex (Ver 4.2.6, 5.0*, 5.1*, 18, *21*)
• Very Solid Experience On SQL And PL/SQL
• Javascript/JQuery
• Oracle AWS RDS environment (11g and 12c, 19c, 21c)
• Strong Experience In Using CSS
• Adheres to best practice coding standards
• Able to write clear technical documents - comfortable with JavaScript
• A naturally inquisitive, logical, analytical person who has a career focused on delivering tailored solutions within fast-moving environments
• Proven Experience Of Working In a Highly Agile Environment
• Attention to detail and the ability to catch information quickly is essential
• Great Interpersonal Skills
