Security Cleared* DevOps Application Support Engineer

Security Cleared* DevOps Application Support Engineer (Java, Spring, Springboot, web, html, css, Jquery, ReactJS, Javascript, XML, SCCS, JSON, Swagger, YAML, SQL, Powershell, Maven, Gradle, Bash, Python, CI/CD) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Client for a rolling 6-month, home based contract.

You will deliver the transition and development of a mature service, be part of an agile team setting up and maintaining the operational service of our customer's applications on AWS and within the Datacentre.

Ensure all necessary monitoring, alerting and backup solutions are in place. Using SLOs to guide prioritization putting reliability front and center.

Requirements:

- Strong working knowledge and experience in a technical operational support function at Level 3 but working closely with Product development,Platform development and Service functions
- Expert in applications; ideally you've worked on large codebases in a microservices and Data architecture landscape - spread over both

- Cloud and Datacentre services. Already have working knowledge of Government protective marking scheme or able to quickly adopt such principles in your working day.
- Experience with code frameworks and technologies listed below, focused on contexts such as Security, Performance, Microservices, Frontend, and Data systems.
- You enjoy supporting critical services with software engineering and are excited with a blend of developing code, infrastructure and leading the maturity of a service.

- Desire to work in a transforming programme with respectful, transparent, and collaborative work environment, culture and ways of working.

To be successful you will have a combination of the below experience:
