My client, a market leader within Security & Defence, are currently recruiting for a 3rd Line Network Support Engineer to join their team of 3rd line support engineers on a permanent basis. Working across two offices in Basingstoke and Bracknell you will be responsible for providing operational support to enterprise environments that run 24/7 across the two data centres. Providing BAU support plus some additional ad hoc requirements, you will perform system config changes, upgrades and liaise with third parties and internal teams.

This position will be normal working day, there will be a requirement to move to shift work next year and work on call (1 in 4).

* A valid national security clearance is required for this role, but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered. Candidates not holding clearance will be required to undergo clearing before starting.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong 3rd line support experience
• Cisco Nexus 9k/3k switches and Cisco IOS 2960/3650 switches
• Cisco ASR Routers
• Cisco ASA Firewalls and FirePOWER (IDS and IPS)
• Cisco FMC
• Cisco Identity services engine (ISE)
• Juniper SRX firewalls (Clustered and unclustered)
• F5 Loadbalancers
• SSL VPNs
