Security Cleared Network Architect/Network Designer (LAN)

Security Cleared* Network Architect/Network Designer/Network Design (LAN, VLAN, IP, Routing, Switching, Physical networks) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 6 months rolling contract, to be based remotely from home, with occasional travel across the UK to carry out office site visits.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• The successful applicant will be joining a team of Network Architects
• Must have experience of designing and implementing new LAN equipment into offices across the UK, occasional travel across the UK to carry out office site visits will be required
• Remote design experience
• Responsible for designing and putting new LAN equipment into offices
• Will be responsible for working out where equipment will go
• Documenting from Rack/Power - how equipment will be connected
• Experience of resolution of issues
• Cabling
• Must have the following environment experience: VLAN, IP, Routing, Switching, Physical networks

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered.
