6 Month Initial Contract

We need a competent developer-type skilled person who is able to take apart and understand a large number of scripts that are written in a combination of:

• Bash
• Yml
• Windows Power Shell
• Windows cmd
• Ansible

They will need to be able to do a forensic analysis of the scripts to understand the security issues that may exist within them and to understand the complexities of Windows security settings, firewall rules etc. that are modified or created as part of running these scripts. There is also a need to be able to examine the environments being used a provide a similar forensic analysis to help understand any potential issues within those environments.

This role requires someone with good experience and a rounded understanding of Windows environments, as well as Linux and, most importantly, a very good security understanding to be able to determine where there may be any security issues as a result of any actions that are being performed by these scripts, or within the environments. In addition, they need to be able to suggest alternative solutions and actions plans where any issues are identified.

This will be a remote working (UK only) contract, initially for 6 months with a view to extend.
