SC Cleared* Deskside Engineer

Great contract opportunity open for an SC Cleared* Deskside Engineer to come on board and work for a multinational information technology equipment and services company based in Carnary Wharf, London. This will be an inital 3 month contract position with competitve rates on offer.

Duties:

Support to various devices and PC/laptop builds, Operating Systems, some Active Directory administration

Deliver moves and changes across all business areas of FCA account, providing feedback to and working closely with the change/project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to cost.

You will develop key relationships with end users, including VIPs/Executives, in various customer business areas and provide continuing support.

Provide feedback on perceived issues, to ensure new services are engaged successfully, negating problems before they arise.

Engineers will be required to be part of the on-site team to cover support at the main customer sites in Canary Wharf and actively involved in the team general rota to cover early/late working during operational hours.

The on-site team also provide 24x7x365 Out Of Hours support for VIPs which is rota¡¦d across the team. Occasional weekend/out of hours working may also be required.

Key experience:

Experience of supporting Windows Operating Systems (egDe Windows 7)

Experience of supporting Microsoft Outlook and MS Office applications

SC clearance (can be obtained after joining)

* the successful candidate must be willing to undergo SC Clearance prior to commencement of the contract
