SC Cleared* AIX Engineer/Support (Complex Unix Shell Scripting)

SC Cleared* AIX Engineer/AIX Support (Complex Unix Shell Scripting) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 8 months rolling contract (to be taken in 6 month stints), based in Telford, Shropshire.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• Must have extensive and recent hands on AIX experience
• Strong AIX with as many of the following technologies as possible: Solaris, Unix, Linux, Scripting, SAN, backups
• Extensive experience of producing complex Unix scripts using Shell
• The team are responsible for the Live Service Delivery of all aspects of the core infrastructure.

* The successful candidate must be willing to undergo SC Clearance prior to commencement of the contract.
