I am currently undertaking a Search for a Release Train Engineer/Project Manager role for a leading client.The ideal candidate will have strong experience of the below:

• Managing any change to the backlog in conjunction with the Product Authority.
• Ensuring sufficient user stories exist for at least the next 2 sprints and escalating where this is not the case.
• Ensuring timely approvals for backlog change are obtained
• To manage the Sprint Plans of delivery teams
• Ensure that the content of all planned sprints is agreed
• Ensure that changes to sprint plans are managed through governance
• To manage the Programme Increment
• Prepare and run the PI planning workshop
• Ensure sufficient requirements elaborated to fill PI
• To manage change to PI during execution - including determining how changes to backlog and sprint plans impact on PI
• Managing and reporting PI progress
• Ownership of burn down charts or other forms of Agile progress reporting
• Understanding actual versus planned progress and highlighting where change is needed to address any discrepancies.
• Escalation of issues surrounding achievement of individual sprints to Orchestration team and relevant Release PM
• Agile Tooling
• Support the implementation of ServiceNow SAFe tooling
• Champion the adoption and use of SAFe tooling within the programme
