RAN/TX Security Project Manager

Security Project Manager (RAN/TX) 18 Month Fixed Term Contract Location: Reading - with flexible working

The Role:

The Security Project Manager will be leading and driving the project activity associated with amongst other things the implementation of the new Telecoms Security Requirements (TSR) standards, specifically in our Transmission and Radio Access Network space.

What you can expect to be doing:

Being accountable for the management and successful delivery of RAN/TX security related projects to the agreed time, cost and quality targets.

Establishing and maintaining projects within the overall programme to shareholder requirements and maximising the delivery of benefit to our shareholders.

The proactive planning, monitoring, management and reporting of project / programme progress. Chairing and managing the respective meeting forums and governance control points for effective communication and timely reporting of key information.

The proactive management of all programme interdependencies, risks and issues. Initiating corrective action, recovery plans and intervention to achieve successful delivery of the programme.

The proactive management of the project/programme budget, forecasting, monitoring and reporting spend against the delivery of benefit to the shareholders

What we are looking for:

• Extensive Project Management experience, ideally within the Network Security space.
• Good knowledge of RAN and Transmission
• Experience of managing large scale budgets, including forecasting and planning
• Strong experience of financial and management accounting including CAPEX and OPEX cost control of Suppliers, 3rd Parties and retained teams.
• Ability to communicate on many levels and build positive relationships and to use these to socialise and influence stakeholders up to SMT level
• Ability to manage supplier performance and delivery
