Quantity Surveyor - Telco
12 month Fixed Term Contract
Based in the Reading area
We have an exciting opportunity for an qualified Quantity Surveyor who has ideally worked within the mobile telecoms industry previously.
This role will possibly suit someone who has recently finished their QS qualification, and wants to gain valuable experience within the mobile arena, supporting exciting projects including the introduction of 5G!
For this role, you will need to be experienced with
- Providing commercial management of suppliers and prevent any overspend
- Managing the cost of sites - large volume
- Managing pricing of customer orders
- Providing pricing based on current rate cards
- Managing suppliers monthly valuations
You will need to be able to demonstrate commercial awareness, a strong ability to engage with stakeholders, and commercially manage suppliers to prevent overspend against CAPEX/OPEX costs.
