Group QHSE & Compliance Manager - This is a permanent position working for a key company within Mobile Telecoms network Infrastructure, such as site acquisition, build, deployment and installations of mobile towers. This is a great opportunity for someone experienced within Quality, Health & Safety to join the senior management team and be responsible for QHSE and Compliance across the Group of companies.

As Group QHSE & Compliance Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and manage the compliance function including internal audits, ISO accreditation and operating standards, ensuring accreditations ISO9001, ISO1400 and ISO45001 are maintained and updated as required
  • Liaise with customer QHSE and Compliance reps and manage monthly H&S reporting, escalations and monitoring
  • Ensure that the groups duties under CDM are fulfilled for projects
  • Ensure compliance to operational H&S across Head Office and Stores
  • Manage and maintain individuals PPE and stat equipment inspections under LOLER and PUWER

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience within QHSE & Compliance within Telecoms or Construction (or other high-risk)
  • Must have "working at heights" experience
  • Experience in ruining CDM projects as principal contractor and/or principal designer
  • Experience of implementing and maintaining ISO accreditations including ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
  • Experience of developing and managing monitoring systems for statutory compliance and maintaining accurate records and systems
  • Experience of formulating, implementing and revising QHSE and Compliance policies and procedures
  • Experience of working within a customer/client facing role
  • NEBOSH construction or NEBOSH General Cert
  • Graduate member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH)
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to design and effectively deliver QHSE and Compliance training
  • Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (Desirable)
