Job Description

Proposal Lead/Proposal Consultant/Bid Writer/Bid Consultant/Bid Manager (IT Services/IT Outsourcing) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 6 months rolling contract, to be based remotely with some travel to Telford, UK. Candidates must be able to travel to Telford when required.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Experience of working for large IT outsourcing companies with strong client facing experience;
  • The successful applicant will be an experienced Proposal Lead/Bid Writer/Consultant
  • Must have a strong IT background
  • Must have bid writing experience

  • Our client is looking for a forward-thinking Framework and DLG (Delivery Lead Growth) Lead with a breadth of knowledge and experience across the I.T. industry to support the growth on one of their accounts, into new business areas and opportunities. You will take responsibility for the technical response quality on small-medium framework and bid opportunities leading the team to deliver compelling, persuasive propositions.
  • Take a leading role in proposition development, proposal writing and some end-to-end bid management
  • Lead several small framework opportunities, collaborating with sales and BD teams
  • Become a key member of the bid improvement team, linking into the wider public sector initiative
  • Contribute to lessons learnt sessions, bid feedback, and win/loss analysis to shape ideas and thinking
  • Focus on how we will win, which should include competitor analysis, win-themes and value propositions to deliver proposals/responses that persuade the client to buy from our client
  • Liaise with the opportunity owner to qualify (from a technical perspective), build and maintain a bid pipeline
  • Develop DLG opportunities in collaboration with the delivery teams to drive incremental new business
  • The successful applicant will have a bid background and experience of winning work
