Property Legal Counsel - Commercial Property/Real Estate

We have a great opportunity for a qualified Lawyer seeking an inhouse opportunity for a telecoms going through an exciting phase in their journey, delivering infrastructure innovation, and 5G deployment across the UK.
The client is looking for a qualified lawyer who will enjoy supporting their commercial conveyancing. The role would be transactional, and would work closely with the Property & Estates team, and be responsible for completing leases, purchases, sales, and tracking progressing transactions in high volume, working closely with their legal suppliers.
Role Insight
- Completing leases with landowners
- Progressing transactions in volume, through managing their legal suppliers
- Advising stakeholders in house, and dealing with issues with legal suppliers
- Reporting to some senior people within the business on how these are progressing, or potential challenges etc.
- Working closely with the Property & Estates team. Advising on heads of terms, dealing with issues with legal suppliers, or helping them understand elements easier
- Continuous improvement - you'll have an input in trying to improve some of the processes, maybe around billing/invoicing/tech being used etc.
Background required:
- to be a qualified lawyer with minimum 2+ yrs PQE ideally
- commercial property/real estate experience
- comfortable advising stakeholders at all levels in house, and handling difficult suppliers
- have a high attention to detail
- to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- to be a great team player
- to have an ability to engage well across a business
