Project/Supplier Manager

Project/Supplier Manager (Mobile telecoms). Contract. Warrington

Project Co-Ordinator supporting a team which are involved with Transmission design and managing the tasks connected to their suppliers.You will display some PM skills but the role won't have the responsibilities of a PM. You will have some PM skills on small projects or tasks.

This department looks at the key areas of a live network so you will need to understand the importance of the suppliers to fix issues quickly and manage this with them.

You will liaise with 4 or 5 key external suppliers and examples would be the following:

• Suppliers that look at the line of site for the microwave links and if there is any obstructions that would cause issues. As an example there are currently 100 line of site surveys out at the moment.
• Tree's are a main obstruction interfering with the microwave links so it will be liaising with site owners and councils to have these cut down.
• Lease line is also part of the network so it would be liaising with and managing that relationship with farmers for example to gain access for the lease lines.

Experience

Must have worked directly or indirectly via a supplier for a mobile operator

Experience of workflow management tools ideally NRM but others can be considered.

Some PM skills even if it is managing the end to end process of small projects/tasks
