Programme Planner / PMO Planner - My client, a leading Mobile Telecoms company are looking for an experienced Programme/PMO/Project Planner who has experience working on a fast paced Mobile network rollout project. This will be a short term contract assignment initially until the end of June.

As Programme Planner you will be working within the Transmission department on the rollout of the 5G programme. For this position my client requires someone who has programme planning experience within a fast paced, high volume Radio Access Network (RAN) or Transmission programme.

As Planner you will be responsible for:

• To ensure the Business Functional delivery plans clearly identify dependencies, assumptions, resource requirements, programme risks and issues, and that the critical path is clearly identified
• Utilise GANTT, PERT, milestone charts, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
• Develop, maintain and progress quality project plans
• Maintain key interdependencies between the projects and programmes
• Liaise with all parties to ensure Business Function planning submissions are issued in a timely manner to be reviewed prior to planning meetings
• Chair planning meetings

Essential Experience Required:

• Experienced Portfolio Planner, with planning experience across a large cross functional business
• Portfolio planning experience gained within a Mobile Telecoms network (RAN or Transmission) programme
• Will have solid Project Planning expertise in MS Project 2016 Pro
• Advanced MS Excel
• Solid PowerPoint and Visio skills
• Portfolio planning - maintenance and updates
• Expertise of analysing project plans, dependency management, baseline management and resource usage across the portfolio
