Programme Management Support Specialist - Permanent - Berkshire (with flexible working)

Programme Management Support Specialist:

The Programme Management Support Specialist will be working directly for a Senior Programme Manager within our clients Transmission Programme. You will be responsible for providing assurance on all aspects of the programme governance, forecasting and quality controls. Acting as the Senior Programme Manager's right hand, you will need to be able to step in to chair programme meetings where necessary and ensure all parties are prepared and delivering to agreed outcomes.

What you can expect to be doing:

Responsible for supporting the transformation and continuous improvement of the end to end methodologies, processes and capabilities required to manage the programme governance, financial budgeting, forecasting, funding allocation, ordering, tracking, control and reporting for projects and programmes including all related forums and governance control points

Responsible for the proactive identification and implementation of efficiency and cost saving initiatives to maximise the benefit delivered by the Transmission Programme.

What we are looking for:

Significant and demonstrable experience in financial management of large scale, high value programmes.

Experience in gathering and collating programme requirements and producing detailed programme dashboards to present to senior stakeholders.

Ability to engage confidently with project teams and stakeholders in order to identify opportunities and affect change to deliver relevant outcomes.
