Product Manager - Collectibles

We are partnering with a leading blockchain organisation called NEM Group.

As a Product Manager, you will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer on a new product vertical around the tokenization of digital collectibles in the sports, gaming and media industry. You should be someone who has a passion for the booming digital economy; someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and work on product delivery; and someone who has a strong background in the blockchain industry.

Responsibilities

  • Work with both internal and external teams to define the product needs - and turn these into beautiful, documented requirements that can be used to guide development, design, marketing and sales.
  • Work with the design and engineering teams to build a word-class digital collectibles marketplace (initially focused on the sports industry).
  • Produce low-fidelity wireframes and architectural diagrams; produce clear and concise external communication on the product limitations and benefits.
  • Work with the sales and business development team to translate customer pain points and customer requests into a viable product.
  • Work with marketing to create consistent and clear communication throughout the product's representation - both internal and external.
  • Scope, source, and manage external vendor relationships that help augment the current team's capabilities.
  • Research and document both current and future market trends in the digital collectible space, as well as current limitations.
  • Be passionate about the possibilities of the digital economy.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Fluent in English.
  • At least four (4) years of successful product management at a medium-to-large corporation.
  • Be hungry, scrappy and flexible enough to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Have a persistent and determined work ethic, and a willingness to try anything and everything - and to pivot quickly and efficiently, as needed.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and other task-management tools.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Personal experience or understanding of collectibles and the collectibles market.
  • Proven experience with blockchain tokenomics and the digital economy.
  • A personal passion for digital collectibles and the creator community.
