Permanent Opportunity - Competitive Salary + Benefits + 10% Bonus

Reading, Berkshire

A challenging new opportunity has arisen for an ITIL certified Problem Manager to work on a permanent basis for a leading Mobile Telecoms company based in central Reading. Your role as Problem Manager will be to manage outsourced / Managed Service Provider Problem Team, to ensure that issues and incidents are being resolved properly.

As Problem Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for managing the delivery of the outsourced problem team
  • Problem analysis, deep-diving into root cause
  • Putting measures in place to prevent repeat problems
  • Identifying areas for continuous service improvement
  • Predicting and preventing negative impacts on the network
  • Reviewing major problems and identifying risks
  • Act as escalation point for suppliers in order to investigate, assess and resolve problems with the network
  • Providing insight on supplier performance in problem management and challenging where appropriate

Skills & Experiences Required:

  • ITIL V3 or V4 certified
  • Experienced Problem Manager
  • Demonstrable experience in a Customer Centric Service Operations Problem Management role
  • Advanced Excel, strong analysis, reporting and data management skills
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
