Problem Manager

Permanent Opportunity - Competitive Salary + Benefits + 10% Bonus

Reading, Berkshire

Problem Manager - working for a leading Mobile Telecoms company as Problem Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the problem management conducted by the Managed Service Providers to ensure that issues are being resolved properly. Due to the nature of this role my client is looking for a Problem Manager with experience of managing an outsourced 3rd Party / Managed Service Partner.

As Problem Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Problem management on the Emergency Services Network
  • Act as escalation point for suppliers in order to investigate, assess and resolve problems with the network
  • Providing insight on supplier performance in problem management and challenging where appropriate
  • Ensuring the Managed Service Provider deliverables and outcomes are aligned to business expectations

Skills & Experiences Required:

  • ITIL V3 or V4 certified
  • Demonstrable experience in a Customer Centric Service Operations Problem Management role
  • Experienced Problem Manager
  • Experience managing delivery from 3rd parties or MSPs (problem management)
  • Telecoms experience is highly desirable
  • Advanced Excel, strong analysis, reporting and data management skills
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
