I am currently recruiting for a Power BI Engineer, this is an urgent contract opportunity, requiring someone who can start immediately. This will be a home based working role (UK only).

Responsible for the delivery of a small discrete piece of work for Network Rail client, working as part of a larger team. Implementation of new functionality and deploying overall delivery to a production environment.

• Working knowledge/understanding of the following Power BI / Data Analytics functions:

• Dimensional Modelling i.e. Star Schema
• Creation of a semantic layer over the data.
• Creation of measures, calculated fields using DAX
• Creation of multi-page reports with appropriate slicers, filters, drill-through pages, etc.
• Setup of a Power BI application and appropriate RBAC.
• Row level security
• Administrator of users and licences
