Job Description
Network System Engineer - Security Cleared
Our client a global IT Outsourcing company are undergoing an exciting phase of growth driven by some significant business wins. With that said they are looking for Network System Engineer for an initial 3 month contract position. The Network System Engineer will work under general direction with substantial responsibility and autonomy for planning and delivering their work.
The role includes both Third line Support and Project DC build work. Also includes completion of Service transition tasks such as due diligence, design updates, creation of work instructions & knowledge articles.
The Network Engineer will handle Project DC build NW tasks and NW Support incidents. There are a high number of Project change requests for tenants on each environment. Some tenants are Live and some are starting to deploy and test on this platform. To monitor network solution and remediate any issues found. To keep environment maintained and patched.
Mandatory Skills Required:
Network System Engineer with CCNP. Either qualified or working towards CCIE. Several years experience in Supporting a customer such as a Government customer in a locked down and secure environment.
Experienced in producing low level designs and Support collateral.
Desirable Skills Required:
CISCO ACI, Network Management, Solarwinds, SCOM, NTP, CISCO ISE, ASR & ISR Routers, Firewalls and Encryption.
Due to the nature of the work, the Network Systems Engineer will need to hold Security clearance to SC level before starting.
