Third Line Network Support Engineer- Contract

**A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered**

Leading Managed Services Provider in the Defence Sector require a skilled Network Engineer on permanent basis.

We are looking for a Third Line Network support engineer with experience in any number of the technologies listed below to join a team of diversely skilled like minded engineers to work collaboratively across multiply sites and accounts within a shared service. Your role will involve direct technical support for all of services to maintain a high level of support across multiple activities and perform system configuration changes, upgrades and liaise with third parties and other internal teams.

Your experience

Watch Guard firewalls

In depth Routing & Switching (L2 / L3 connectivity) (WAN, LAN even SDWAN)

Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)

Firewall Management (policies/rules/security zones)

Encryption methods (IPSec, SSL, TLS, DTLS)

VPN configuration

Router/Switch CLI experience

Hardware and Infrastructure experience (switches, routers, misc i.e sSFPs and different connectors Able to produce Network diagrams, HLD,LLD and formal work instructions for peers and subordinates DNS/DHCP Virtualisation and automation Basic scripting

Desirable Qualifications

CCNA CompTIA Network+ JNCIA Juniper
