Network Engineer (CCNA/Cisco/Palo Alto/Fortinet/Azure)

Network Engineer (CCNA/Cisco/Palo Alto/Fortinet/Azure/PaaS/IaaS) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 3 months rolling contract, to be based in Woking, Surrey.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• Cisco, Palo, Fortinet, strong networking knowledge and strong hands on experience .
• Excellent vendor management / Service Ownership of suppliers
• Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.
• Strong, hands-on technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows Server, Azure IaaS, Azure PaaS, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco.
• Excellent knowledge of telephony systems and network connectivity, including FTTC, FTTP, ADSL, MPLS and SD-WAN.
• Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards and a good understanding of vendors' roadmaps.
• Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience (Firewalls, Routers, Switches)
• Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.
• Experience in working for a global organisation
• CCNA certified or equivalent
• Technical project work experience
• Candidates must live within a commutable distance from Woking and be able to work 5 days on-site in Woking.
