Network Engineer

Network Engineer/Architect - Hampshire (Some Remote) - Contract

**A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered**

Leading Managed Services Provider in the Defence Sector require a skilled Network Engineer on an ongoing contract basis.

Your role will involve working closely with the existing Network Engineers and Architects to configure and implement solutions, on a wide variety of network solutions

• Proposing and utilising technologies from a variety of industry leading technology vendors.
• Producing low level design artefacts including network diagrams and configuration build documentation.
• Demonstrable experience in the creation of IP Addressing designs or in the configuration and support of said design.
• Demonstrable understanding of IP protocols
• Good knowledge of firewalls both Cisco and Juniper.
• Familiar with LAN based fibre types and associated hardware.
• Familiar with using network design tools.
• Cisco CCNA, or Juniper JNCIA or equivalent experience.
