Network Designer/Network Design Engineer (Cisco/Firewall)

Network Designer/Network Design Engineer (Cisco/Firewall/CheckPoint/Sidewinder/Fortinet) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 3 months rolling contract, to be based remotely from home.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• The successful applicant must have network design experience
• Analyse reasons why network configuration is blocking deployment of enterprise tool to all target destinations in datacentres and remediate.
• Must have experience of CISCO networks, as well as Checkpoint, Sidewinder, Fortinet firewall policies and rules required to resolve the network blockages.
• Manages systems within SLA
• Contributes to the definition of operational processes, (both internal and external) and dealing with customer escalated problems.
• Establishes working relationships with the customer and relevant operational units
• Takes ownership for obtaining the information required to diagnose and resolve more complex problems. Engages with third parties to jointly resolve in-depth product issues where necessary. Proactively analyses information and trends, proposing action to resolve problems, maintain and enhance service.
