Leading Managed Services Provider in the Defence Sector require a Network Architect both on contract and permanent who will be required to have experience on Cisco and Juniper.

**A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered**

Location: Basingstoke or Bracknell Mostly home working - will be in the office or client site about once a week

Job Description:

• Network Architects with a mix of Cisco and Juniper ideally but will need to have at least some exposure to and comfort working with Juniper as the role will involve a lot of it
• Working on the changes to the MOD networks, big scale work, interesting stuff for them to work on
• More like a senior designer than architect for these roles. Probably won't be huge architects for this as we need them doing design work as well as the architect commercial stuff, will include: LLDs, Impact changes, design documents, scoping time & materials, commercial documents etc - BUT not just that stuff, is a hands-on design role.

Your experience

• Demonstrable design experience in proposing and utilising technologies from a variety of industry leading technology vendors.
• Experience in requirements management and associated tooling.
• Demonstrable experience in the creation of IP Addressing designs or in the configuration and support of said design.
• Solid understanding of a variety of network and routing protocols.
• Experience with Network Management or SIEM designs, tooling or support.
