Job Description:

My client it looking to hire a Network analyst to join the WAN/LAN Operate team. The successful candidate will have previous networking experience but will be provided training and support to learn new skills and gain certifications.

This role may require the incumbent to work the occasional (infrequent basis) shift work to satisfy a particular operational need. Other responsibilities include:

* Responsible for providing a high level of support and advice to all of the accounts that are currently supported by the
shared networks teams.
* Involved with small to medium sized project work with supervision from implementation team. (Includes MSCs & Planned work requiring assistance from the NOC)
* Takes ownership of incidents and progresses them through to resolution.
* Investigate service improvements and make recommendations based on these investigations.
* Able to work in a team or on their own with very little supervision.
* Produce and present service reports using tools available, e.g. eHealth.
* Escalates to TSS3 and SDM where required.
* Well established, self-sufficient team member.


Skills Required:
* Basic awareness of networking.
* Basic awareness of networking technologies, i.e. LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching and subnet addressing.
* Basic awareness of networking hardware, especially from the Juniper family, awareness of network implementation work.
* Basic awareness of network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Due to the nature of the work candidates will need to be SC cleared prior to starting.
