The client

Our client is among the world's leading global IT service providers and they are now looking for Messaging Technician.

The role

This role covers functions of Exchange, outlook and office communicator. Messaging engineer's responsibilities include supporting user's access mail via outlook 2010 or 2003 managing and maintaining exchange 2010 infrastructure on two secure domains. Incidents are logged using CASD and HPSM toolsets, messaging engineer is expected to ensure KPI's are met when using these toolsets and troubleshooting incidents that have been raised.

The candidate will be expected to be confident in raising change requests while maintaining the system, this might also include attending meetings and change approval board to justify and explain any changes to senior engineers and management.

Hours are 0700-1900 to cover 37 hours as directed by the team lead. There will be provision for either 30 minutes or 1 hour for lunch depending on availability of staff to maintain the service.

Normal work pattern is 0700-1530 or 1030-1900 with 1 hour lunch.
