Marketing Technology Solutions Consultant - B2B -6 month contract - Mobile Telecoms - Berkshire

New exciting opportunity to work for a leading mobile operator based in Berkshire. Urgent requirement for a MarTech & Data Solution Consultant to join our team to meet the growing needs of our business marketing team to develop marketing campaigns. This is a business consulting role requiring a good level of technical platform knowledge and data driven marketing expertise. It will involve supplier selection and management, implementation, consultancy, and service set up.

Our Solution Consultant will deliver work in three main areas:

1) Solution design
- Working closely with our Acquisition Marketing, CVM, Digital, Sales and IT team to help define the sales and marketing experience and process

- Detailed discovery and design to turn our vision into clear requirements
- Defining our B2B customer experience strategy, roadmaps and budgets
- Define our data strategy and requirements to deliver value from MarTech

2) Consultancy Support

- Working with our marketing team in an advisory capacity to help them set up and accelerate implementation from technology; specifically delivering:

- Platform audits and Software Vendor Assessment through RFP process
- Technology Platform and Vision to Value Roadmaps
- Strategic advice on key projects and how the technology supports in delivering our growth ambition
- Operating model recommendations to ensure we have the right capabilities in the team to leverage the technology

3) Capability Enablement
- Working with our internal teams to help accelerate their adoption of new technology, features and techniques; specifically in the following areas:

- Thought leadership around our key technology partnerships and regular knowledge sharing
- Skills development, partner certification and service innovation based on evolving technology capabilities

This is a complex and challenging role with many aspects that you will need to balance on day-to-day basis including:

  • Working on multiple complex projects for different stakeholders at the same time
  • Supporting the definition of our prospect and customer marketing experience
  • Leading delivery beyond MarTech and Data including areas such as analytics, experience platforms, creative content production and hosting
  • Define best-practice methodologies for the best use of marketing technology


We are looking for someone from a consultancy / agency / software background with experience of CRM, CDPs and data-driven customer marketing programmes. Capable of mapping out complex solutions in easy-to-understand formats for business leaders and non-technical marketers to grasp

  • A strong negotiator who is naturally resilient, decisive, quick learner, target driven
  • Experience in Adobe, Marketo, Salesforce technology and vendor management
  • Experience in Data Solutions & CDPs integration
