Mandarin Speaking Financial Accountant

An opportunity to join a leading property company in London as a Financial Accountant. Reporting into the Finance and Tax Manager, this role focuses on supporting all financial aspects of the company strategy and assisting the flow of financial information, and will take on the following key responsibilities:

• Manage the Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger function
• Review and analyse contracts
• Manage cash flow and funds
• Understand and implement on-going internal procedures in order to increase efficiency
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports by collecting data, analysing and investigating variances, summarising data, information and trends
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Respond to financial enquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising and interpreting data
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for the Finance Manager and Finance Director

Key Requirements/Skills:

• Fluent in either Mandarin or Cantonese
• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• Previous similar experience, preferably within a Property/Construction company
• Information reporting experience and statistical analysis skills
• Great communication skills
