Mandarin Speaking Data Centre Engineer (Permanent role)

I am recruiting for Mandarin speaking Data centre engineer to join my client-a leading IT service company.

Newport

Responsibility:

• Take charge of planned maintenance of data center infrastructure, routine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and closure of major problems, performance and capacity, emergency response and handling.
• Implement data center-related processes and internal control regulations. Data center security management (including fire safety and physical & information security); IT asset onsite management;
• Plan and execute the plan, continuously improve the equipment room service quality, reduce the TCO of the data center, and regularly release data center operation and service reports.
• O&M management of the data center LAN, provide onsite services and support for the WAN and system, and provide cabinet and cabling services for devices deployed in the data center based on the SLA.
• Cooperate with onsite survey, capacity adaptation, onsite implementation, and acceptance test management in the early stage of the project, and participate in project operation tasks such as review of project solution rationality.
• Manage data center suppliers and take responsibility for the service quality of suppliers.
• Take charge of collaboration and communication with the data center support business and related departments (suppliers, campuses, and business departments) to effectively support business objectives and other work that requires onsite cooperation.

Requirements:

• Computer and communication related education background, have the following (the first) more than two years work experience.
• Have IT work experience, be familiar with ITIL or related IT maintenance and security process.
• Have network technical and management skills such as STP, Firewall, MPLS, BGP, VRRP is preferred, CCNA, CCNP certificate is preferred.
• Have Data center onsite operate , maintain and project delivery is preferred.
• Have system management skills such as X86 hardware, Linux, Windows is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken Mandarin, English is a must requirement;
• Can work overtime and on call 7*24 hours.
