Job Description

Project People are supporting a Multi-Academy Trust based in West London. They are seeking to appoint a Lead PE Teacher (Female) from February 2020 or as soon as possible, dependent on availability on a permanent basis to one of their leading secondary schools.

The school is currently graded by OfSTED as being 'Good' in all areas and is recognised as an educational establishment that consistently strives for academic excellence, with a bespoke curriculum, within a well-resourced learning environment.

The Headteacher and the Director of Sport both joined in September 2018 and the school has enjoyed sporting and academic success on its' rapidly improving journey. They are currently 7th in the country in terms of Level 5+ progress in Maths and English and some of the sporting successes include winning Borough/ District leagues and tournaments.

Alongside this, the department enjoys excellent facilities with a large outdoor area including a field, Astro and a multi-games area and have the luxury of a large five badminton court Sports Hall that includes indoor cricket nets.

The successful person joining will be an ambitious PE specialist, who is seeking the next step in their teaching career and is ready to continue the development of a young and motivated PE department, ensuring outstanding outcomes for the pupils whatever their background. The ideal person will be someone looking to take the next step into Middle Leadership or an experienced Head of Department looking for a new challenge and the possibility of progression within the Trust.
