Lead Migration Engineer - Security Cleared- Remote - Telford- Contract
Leading Managed Services Provider in the Defence Sector require Migration Lead Engineer for our client in Telford for their data centre migration project.
Contract: 3 Months rolling
Remote
Role Purpose
Need to support the client in migrating their x86 servers out of the current data centres and into their Crown Hosting data centres. To support this activity, require a Migration Project Manager to lead the migration team and to help define the migration solutions. Engaging with customer stakeholders, service owners and technical teams to drive the planning & execution of discovery & migration phases of the x86 project
. The role will involve working closely with the customer and other third-party teams
- Excellent communicator.
- Great organisation skills.
- Strong talent for collaborative working and stakeholder management.
- Lean-Agile mind-set, particularly skills expected of a Scrum Master working within Scrum framework.
- Energetic problem solver driving progress through uncertainty & competing demands
In addition to the above, any experience of the HMRC account would be advantageous
