Lead Architect - London - Security Cleared - Contract
**Please note a national security clearance is required for this role but applicants not holding this level of clearance may be considered**
Leading Managed Services provider in the Defence sector require a skilled Lead Architect on and ongoing contract basis to work on site in London offices.
- Technical lead for system design & development of other secure related systems
- Technical lead (SME) Capabilities
- Responsibilities for supporting the Solution Owner with system design, security assurance etc.
- Low-level technical guidance/support to the Support team
- Provide SME technical input into new business opportunities.
Skills Required:
- Good practical knowledge and understanding of working within a secure environment.
- Proven record of technical support and development within a secure environment using various technologies and solutions.
- Demonstrable working experience of various O/S (Win2k8, Win2k12, Win 7, Win 10, Red Hat) and technologies such as firewalls, thin client, secure networks
- Working experience and knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, JAVA, XML, VB)
- Customer interfacing skills essential; excellent communicator
Desirable Skills:
- Back-up processes including VERITAS Netback Up experience, MS Exchange experience, CISCO Networking experience & VMS
