Job Description
Role: Junior Finance Analyst
Type: Permanent
Location: Theale (Hybrid)
We are looking for Finance Analysts to join one of the leading telecom brands based in Theale, this role sits across the treasury and reporting function of the finance team. Softer reporting into the deputy Finance Controllers of those respective teams and offering a wide scope of work.
What we are looking for:
- Finance qualification
- At least 1 year of practice or industry background
- Part qualified is preferred
- Wants an ambitious person who is seeking a clear path of progression
Key Responsibilities
- Overheads, including accruals and prepayments
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and financial reporting standard
- Support with coordination of month-end close process and preparation of corporation tax / VAT returns
- Ensure headcount data is accurate in different systems
- Bank reconciliations and coordination of payment approvals
- Collate VAT data and documentary evidence to support VAT recovery
