Job Description

Java Developer/Java Application Developer (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Dataflow, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service, Kubernetes) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 2 months rolling contract, to be based remotely.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Must have a proven track record to work at all stages of the software development life cycle.
  • Experience of the following: full lifecycle development, testing, development of code, technical documentation
  • Performing peer reviews and development optimisation (reviewing what is in place and making it better) especially with mentoring more junior team members
  • Collaborating with the Agile Customer at SCRUM Meetings to assign business value to technical stories
  • Core Skills include:
    • Java
    • Spring Boot & Spring Cloud Dataflow
    • PostgreSQL
    • Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service
    • Kubernetes
