IT Security Consultant - This is a short term contract position working for a rapidly growing Mobile Telecoms company based in central Reading. This position has come about due to an increase in workload.

As this is a short term position my client require an IT Security Consultant with experience gained within the Telecoms environment as you will need to use your understanding of the RAN and Core network, to enable you to hit the ground running. In addition, you will need to know ISO27001, and CAS-T would be a bonus!

As Security Consultant you will be responsible for:

• Heatmap data collection (from a wide range of sources) and threat modelling
• Security risk assessment from threat modelling
• Developing risk mitigation strategies
• Progress reporting

Essential skills and experience required:

• Excellent track record within a fast paced IT Security role within the Mobile Telecoms industry
• ISO27001/CAS-T risk management - practical knowledge of risk assessment processes & methodologies to make risk-based recommendations, and/or requirements to adapt and deploy compensating controls for effective mitigating measures
• Working knowledge of Enterprise and mobile architecture
• Threat modelling
• Security gap analysis against ISO27001/CAS-T
• Policy review and assessment
• Recognised security qualification such as CISSP or CISM or equivalent industry experience
