Leading IT Services Provider in the defence sector require a skilled Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their team in Basingstoke.

Your Duties/Skills:

• Daily, weekly and monthly checks of the environments as per agreed schedules in order to maintain system availability, performance and capacity.
• Monthly security patching of all servers and laptops within agreed SLAs.
• Build and maintenance of laptops.
• Deployment of daily AV updates across all environments.
• Management of system backups and restores and resolution of incidents identified.
• Deployment of changes through the system lifecycle from Development through to Live following agreed Test and Release processes.
• Supporting Microsoft Server Operating Systems, in particular Windows 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016
• Experience of Windows security patching using WSUS
• Previous experience of building Windows laptops
• Experience of working with virtualization technologies, e.g. VMware
