Infrastructure Support Specialist - Contract

**A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered**

Leading Managed Services Provider in the Defence Sector require a skilled Infrastructure Specialist on an ongoing contract basis.

The successful applicant will possess an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows skills, from its architecture, through to delivery in secure environments.

Demonstrable advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server systems administration within an enterprise environment.

Excellent Active Directory Group Policy knowledge (windows 2012 R2), specifically for creating Windows 10 Group policies and associated hardening of windows 10 workstations. Also familiar with creating Group policies for Microsoft Office 2019.

Demonstrable experience of owning the delivery of a work package from design, through prototyping, ensuring the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements.

Extensive experience of troubleshooting and supporting service teams for the resolution of technical issues, and able to provide early life support.

* Windows server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, Windows clusters
* VMWare 6.x, 7.x
* Scripting technologies, VBS, Powershell
* Citrix Cloud, Azure, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
